Paint Your Boss Green

green guide,fuel savers

Going green isn’t only good for the ecology, it’s also very cost efficient. Paper is one of the main waste products of business. Many sheets of paper go in the trash with little more than a paragraph on them. These sheets could be cut up and used for scratch paper or the unused side could be used as draft paper for printing. Once the page is used both front and back, it can be recycled causing less trash production from the company. If the company set a goal for less paper use, that would also cause less printer use which equates to less electricity used and less ink used. Recycling the ink cartridges completes the whole saving cycle and not only doesn’t cost the company anything, it actually saves money.

Another easy way to start saving money is replace the old fluorescent bulbs with new, higher efficiency bulbs will provide better lighting at up to 48 percent reduction in power usage, having employees turn off lights in unused rooms will also help cut down electrical use, helping the company’s bottom line.

Taking green measures will not only help the company’s financial outlook, it will also help the ecology and with good marketing, can help the company achieve high marks with possible customers by acknowledgement through multiple forms of media.
