You Can Use Green Cleaning Products For Your Home

The tag line of the year of 2009 definitely seems to be ‘go green’ and if you can do it for less money than going to the store and buying toxic substances, why not?

If you have children and or animals around the house, going green is even more desirable, as having a child or an animal get into olive oil (one of the two ingredients used in the creation of furniture polish, the other is fresh lemon), instead of something like ‘Old English’ furniture polish is infinitely more desirable.

Another plus is, you probably have all of these different ingredients available in your home if you do any cooking at all. How about using liquid detergent and baking soda to clean your oven rather than having the chemical components of oven cleaner floating around in your house for you and your family to breathe. Or better yet why not pick up some green cleaning products in our GetGreenStore?

There are so many different green product recipes out there for just about any application you can think of. Do you have flies about your house and you’d like to deter them? Mix Avon ‘Skin So Soft’ with cider vinegar and you have an effective fly spray that also has the affect of being soft on the skin.

If you want to go green, it’s currently one of the easiest things to do because of all of the information available for free on the web. All you have to do is look for it.
