The completely unique ZETA has been Designed by visionary architect John Dimopoulos. Perhaps one of the boldest and most unique fireplaces available, the Zeta is sure to spark curiosity and conversation as an artistic piece of furniture in your home. The Zeta combines clean lines with elegant curvature in an elliptical shape that pays homage to its Greek 'origins'. This versatile hearth has a clever fusion of leather, timber and stainless steel giving it an elemental feel. The Brushed or polished stainless steel swivel base provide functionality. The Zetas plywood body is shaped from a high frequency heated aluminum mold into the perfect elliptical shape. The ventless stainless steel insert is moulded into the internal face of the plywood and the outer surface features upholstered leather.
The Zeta comes with a durable toughened glass screen that sit on either side of the fire to enhance the spectacular visual effect created by the dancing flame. This unique fireplace come s in different leather colors including Ciocolatta, Nero, Ranch Hide and Latte.
The Zeta is unique in the EcoSmart designer range, but comes with many of the same advantages of the other Designer Range series. Full portability make this freestanding fireplace a great choice for any buyer. This ethanol fueled, environmentally friendly model uses renewable biofuel for an extremely clean burning fire with no harmful gasses that occur with Gel, Natural Gas or Wood burning hearths.

| Construction Detail | SURROUND: The body of the fire is made from cold-pressed plywood which is shaped into a perfect elliptical shape. A thin stainless steel firebox insert is moulded to the internal face of the plywood, and the outer surface is upholstered in leather or finished in veneer. There are two stitching styles to choose from The two (2) side glass panels are made of toughened Starfire® glass (low iron). The glass panels used are 8mm [0.315in] glass. This safety glass is designed to withstand high temperature variations. BURNER: Placement and clearance allocated for one (1) EcoSmartTM Burner only. | Ventilation | The EcoSmartTM Fire does not require any form of permanent fixture or fitting such as a flue or chimney for ventilation, or any fixed utility for fuel supply. In a house of typical construction, that is, one that is not of unusually tight construction due to heavy insulation and tight seals against air infiltration, an adequate supply of air for combustion and ventilation is provided through infiltration. However, if the heater is used in a small room where less than 5.7m3 [200ft3] of air space is provided for each 1000 BTU per hour of heater rating (considering the maximum burner adjustment), the door(s) to adjacent room(s) should be kept open or a window to the outside should be opened at least 25.4mm [1in] to guard against potential build up of indoor air pollution. Do not install or operate in a bathroom or any other small room. The room cannot be less than 70m3 [2472ft3] per burner. |
| Important | The glass used in the EcoSmartTM Fire Zeta, is toughened glass which means it is stronger than normal glass and can withstand high temperature variations. Importantly, even though it is stronger, toughened glass still has weaknesses. The corners and sides are specific pressure points where it is more fragile and can break if care is not taken. In the case of breakage, toughened glass will shatter into small crystal-like pieces which can cause potential injury and be a choking hazard for small children. We advise that the glass should be handled with special care and that operation of the product should cease immediately if a fault is found. Breakage due to mishandling is not covered by warranty. |
| Maintenance | To keep the leather moist and soft it is important to coat it on a regular basis with a leather conditioner, especially due to the variance in temperature when the fire is operated. If this is not done the leather will crack over time. |

| Clearances | The Zeta can be used as a room centrepiece or placed near any flat wall surface made out of non combustible material. The opening should always face outwards and be a minimum of 600mm [23.6in] away from any combustible material. Use common sense to ensure that your fire is positioned away from curtains, flammable materials and other sources of ignition. Be aware of drafts. |
